Are you looking for a holistic approach to your health and wellbeing? We’re here to help.

Ill health and chronic injury are often compounded by multiple contributing factors and who knows this better than mums?! Not only do we deal with the physical challenges following pregnancy and childbirth, but we enter into an environment that is not particularly conducive to effective healing ~ disturbed sleep, stress, anxiety, depression, exhaustion, and so on.

Every mother’s journey is different, as is her healing. Even if your circumstances were identical to that of another, your experience, reaction and effects may be vastly different.

For this reason yoga therapy engages a holistic approach, treating you as the individual, the whole person, rather than the condition.

We are Yoga Therapists, teachers, pre & postnatal specialists as well as busy mamas. We understand first hand the challenges mums face and that every mother’s journey and experience is unique and individual.

A big belief of ours is that as busy mamas we can have it all. When we choose to live our life from a place of ease & grace, living in the flow of life rather than against it. We use the tools of yoga to achieve this.

The benefits are simple

  • Reduce stress
  • Improve quality of life
  • Promote relaxation
  • Improve quality of sleep
  • Promote healthy food habits
  • Increase ease of breathing
  • Increase ease of movement
  • Increase strength and flexibility
  • Improve overall wellbeing

We can help you with

  • Pre and postnatal care
  • Antenatal and postnatal anxiety & depression
  • Transitioning into motherhood
  • Creating balance as a busy mother
  • Dealing with changes in your body pre & post birth
  • Your fertility journey
  • Adapting your yoga practice to suit your changing needs

How we work

We work 1:1, face-to-face from our home bases of Melbourne and Townsville, Australia.

We are also working towards creating a model that is online and easily accessible to mamas across the globe. We will keep you posted and look forward to connecting with many more mamas in the wider community.

Yoga Therapy empowers and supports individuals to manage their own health using the principles of Yoga and applying a range of Yoga practices developed within a professional therapeutic relationship. ~ Australasian Association of Yoga Therapists
