Peppermint bliss ball recipe

As a busy mum it’s often easier for me to snack throughout the day rather than trying to sit down to a meal. And since discovering Doterra’s amazing peppermint oil I’ve been making these peppermint bliss balls on mass. The best thing about bliss balls is that you can pretty much use whatever you have in the cupboard. Below is my stock standard peppermint bliss ball recipe but you can definitely supplement the cashews & chia seeds for other things like almonds and walnuts.

P.S My babe absolutely LOVES these. I guarantee he would eat 10 in one sitting if I let him!

Peppermint Bliss Balls

ingredients

140 g natural cashews

140 g dates

5 g chia seeds

2 tbsp raw cacao powder

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 drops of peppermint oil [I use Doterra]

pinch of salt

shredded coconut

 

preparation

1/ Soak your dates for 10 mins in cold water

2/ Whilst you wait, combine the cashews, chia seeds, cacao powder and salt together in a mixing bowl

3/ Add your dates and blend until all combined

4/ Add your peppermint oil + vanilla extract and blend again

5/ Here you can add some coconut oil if the mixture is too dry

6/ Roll into small balls and coat with shredded coconut [I blend this a little to make it finer]

7/ Pop them in the fridge to set
